I bought the XL, and it fit well in the bodice and throughout; however, it is a maxi dress on my shorter frame. I would like it better if it hit me mid-calf. The color is a rich maroon, and the cotton is substantial without being stiff. I originally thought I'd have to wait until fall, but I wore it in 90 degree temperatures and found it comfortable. Good value for the price. Can be dressed up with a scarf, but the style and maxi length make it more suitable for casual or dress/casual.
