I got this PATPAT bamboo two piece pajama set for my one year old and I absolutely love it!
Its made of 93% viscose from bamboo and 7% spandex–and it's free from harsh chemicals and dyes. The bamboo viscose material is buttery soft, gentle on delicate/sensitive skin and stretches nicely. Not only is it gentle on their skin, but it also has some really great qualities–it keeps them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I love bamboo for my little one for that reason right there. The temperature regulation is a major plus!
Both pieces are tagless which I appreciate! Tags seem to irritate his skin sometimes so I have remove them. And the waistband on the bottom feels really nice–tight but stretchy! The whole outfit is snug yet extremely flexible. The top is short sleeved with a crew neck and the bottoms are shorts which will be great this summer. There are no buttons or zippers either, both pieces are pull on–making diaper changes/potty breaks super easy or if they are trying to be independent, easier for them to dress themselves.
I love that I can get a set for him at 12 months old, but he can wear them for months after. He don't grow out of the bamboo clothes as fast–that's a mom win! I got the 12-18 month size but they also have many more sizes to choose from. Not to mention the super cute prints they come in! I chose the hungry shark–it's a dark rich blue color with cartoon looking sharks and slices of pepperoni pizza. I'll definitely be buying more sets in some of the other prints available!
This set washed and dried beautifully! The material is durable and long lasting. With a baby/toddler, you need clothes that can withstand frequent machine washes. I know from experience, no matter how many times I've washed his bamboo sleepers, they still look new. They don't lose their shape, stretch out or fade–I'm sure this set will be no different!
All in all, I highly recommend this set and this brand! The quality is there for a great price! It's worth every penny and a must have PJ set.
